This aerial  bomb is effective against exposed personnel and/or personnel in trenches, fortified structures, defensive fortification, bunkers, and field shelters within 30m from the burst; destroys brick and concrete buildings, light-armored and armored vehicles and field facilities  for storage of fuels and lubricants.
